RENAULT-ALPINE A110
The Renault Alpine A110 was the first car from Renault to catch the eye of the discerning international crowd after competing in various rally races in the early 70’s. At the beginning of production, Alpine was its own, independent brand, mechanically based on s on Renaults. After realizing that the brand was successful on and off the tracks, Renault decided to acquire Alpine in 1973. This car is a great classic because it represents the beginning of what Renault Sport became and the catalyst that would make the Renault brand one of the biggest names in the World Rally Championship in the subsequent decades.
Our car was manufactured in a Mexican factory, and it has had races of its own, participating twice in the Rally of Acapulco in the late 80s and early 90s, and winning 1st in class in one of the events. We decided not to do a full refurbishment of the car because we thought the car has a beautiful story it carries with its “scars”. Mechanically, we ensured that the car was running seemlessly, and cosmetically we just reupholstered the seats, which are original Alpine seats imported from France, we also replaced the roll cage and the wheels.
